Leeds United have acted quickly and efficiently in the transfer window so far and will be hoping to continue in the same vein over the next few weeks.
A deal for Chelsea’s sought-after youngster Lewis Bate looks imminent with the player reportedly saying his goodbyes in West London.
It is still unclear whether he will join the first team or the U23s at Thorp Arch though and the Whites are still looking to sign a couple more senior players this summer.

Baggies star interested in Leeds
A number of Premier League clubs have been linked with the signing of Matheus Pereira already during this transfer window. The Brazilian was West Brom’s stand-out performer last term but couldn’t save his side from relegation to the Championship.
Despite the forward’s initial desire to join a club playing European football, ESPN Brazil have claimed that the player is open to a move to Elland Road, even though he has a desire to play European football this season.
Update on Cunha
Another Brazilian who has been heavily linked with a move to West Yorkshire is Hertha Berlin striker Matheus Cunha.
However, a potential move has looked less and less likely as the transfer window has gone on and with the player representing his country at the Olympic Games, it is a deal that would be complicated to complete this summer.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano explained on his Twitch stream that there are no advanced talks between the two clubs and that negotiations are “not so easy”.
Leeds target moves elsewhere
Alhassan Yusuf, who Leeds were reportedly interested in, has opted to join Royal Antwerp on a four-year deal from IFK Göteborg.
According to Score Nigeria, both the Whites and Aston Villa met with representatives of the defensive midfielder but he chose a move to the Belgian top flight over the Premier League.
Scottish champions Rangers were also credited with interest in the player who has been compared to N’Golo Kante but, like the two English clubs, they never submitted a bid.
