Leeds United U23s fixtures revealed for 2021/22 as two new stadiums set to host home games

Leeds United U23s will play host to the very best teams youth football has to offer in this country this coming season.

The junior Whites secured promotion from Premier League 2 Division 2 last term with a triumphant title-winning finish to their campaign.

Leeds were only awarded Category One status last summer, permitting the club to play in Premier League 2, but already the Whites will face off against the best the division has to offer.

That will mean bumper away trips to the best academies in the country, such as Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and many others.

It will see returns to Arsenal’s U23 setup for Sam Greenwood, two trips to Joe Gelhardt’s native Merseyside to play Liverpool and Everton, while Lewis Bate will go up against his former Chelsea teammates.

While Leeds U23s played each of their home games at the club’s Thorp Arch training base last season, this year the team will have three ‘homes’: Thorp Arch, Elland Road and York City’s LNER Stadium.
