Leeds United’s U23 side were back to winning ways in Premier League 2 Division 1 last Monday, securing victory over Derby County.
The youngsters are on the hunt for a second consecutive victory in PL2 and at Lancashire FA’s County Ground in Leyland.
The young Whites were victorious here earlier this month in the Premier League Cup, defeating Wigan Athletic 2-1.
This time around, Leeds’ 23s are in league action and looking to move clear of relegation danger with a win over last-placed Blackburn Rovers.
Rovers have occupied one of the two relegation spots for the majority of the season and have conceded the most goals in PL2’s top flight.
Rovers’ top scorer Sam Burns – who netted in the 4-4 draw between these two sides earlier this season – has been sent out on loan to League Two Scunthorpe United.
