The 26-year-old’s devastated family have previously described her as “a kind and loving mother, daughter and sister” who “always put a smile on everyone’s face.”
Ms Keith’s murder was today described by Detective Inspector (DI) Amanda Wimbles, of West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, as “an utterly senseless attack.”
She added the force hopes Ms Keith’s family will be able to take “some small sense of comfort” in knowing Chadwick will spend at least 25 years behind bars.

Speaking following today’s sentencing, DI Amanda Wimbles said: “Sarah was a vulnerable young mother, and her family have been left absolutely devastated at her murder in an utterly senseless attack by her partner Carl Chadwick.
“He will now have a long time in prison to reflect on what he has done and the pain and anguish it has caused. We hope Sarah’s family will be able to take at least some small sense of comfort from knowing he has had to answer for his actions.”
