Manchester United have announced a strong line-up for their final pre-season match of the summer against Everton at Old Trafford.
Many of the Red Devils’ international stars have returned to the starting XI for the first time since EURO 2020 despite there being just one week to go before they go head-to-head with Leeds United at Old Trafford.
Two of England’s summer heroes Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw have both returned in defence, while star midfielder Bruno Fernandes is also making his first appearance of pre-season.
Another notable returnee for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side is Anthony Martial, who after almost five months out injured, is starting up front for the first time since their FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Leicester City in March.

Midfielders Paul Pogba and Fred are also both back in the squad, although they will both have to settle for a place on the substitutes bench.
Meanwhile, there are still a number of notable absentees for the Red Devils, including new signing Jadon Sancho, who since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund last month, has not yet been involved in a pre-season squad.
And despite a deal having already been agreed almost two weeks ago for Raphael Varane, he is yet to complete a medical at Old Trafford and will therefore have to wait until next weekend for his first taste of the red shirt.
Marcus Rashford is expected to be a long-term absentee for Man United as he is set to undergo surgery on a shoulder injury, while the club have confirmed that Jesse Lingard is missing after returning a positive COVID-19 test.
