The maximum temperature map from forecaster WX Charts for Monday, July 26 reveals temperatures are predicted to surge to hit 23C in some areas.
The map reveals these temperatures will continue to hit 20C and above for several days.
Forecasters predict heatwave conditions will return by the middle of next month.
The Met Office said: “Into early August, warmer and drier-than-average conditions look likely to return for much of the UK.
“By mid-August confidence becomes rather low, but with changeable conditions most likely.
“Above-average temperatures continue to be signalled for much of the period, perhaps becoming very warm or hot at times in the south.”
